GENE
THOMAS – (Solimando) is a Television Director whose
experience covers directing PBS broadcasts of Off-Broadway
musicals; live action video games; giant video-wall productions for
corporate trade shows; large-scale, multi-camera, live television productions
of international satellite broadcasts; hundreds of corporate marketing
communications programs; independent dramatic productions;
and, programs featuring children, live animals, and recalcitrant
CEOs. He has worked professionally on six continents,
and won numerous awards.

BA, English Literature and Education, LaSalle University
10 years experience as a Professional Still Photographer,
working with UPI, the Pennsylvania Ballet, numerous professional theaters
and individual actors, and various private studios
25 years study in Modern Dance, Improvisational Dance, Pantomime
with: Group Motion Dance Company; Temple University Dance Department;
Footloose Dance Company; numerous private teachers. Student of Authentic
Movement with Janet Adler; collaborator with Mary Alice Fry of Footloose/Venue
9; and currently working with Ron Campbell’s performance group.
