Gene Thomas-Solimando is a member of the acting faculty at American Conservatory Theater, where he teaches Acting for the Camera in the Young Conservatory. In addition, he conducts group and private classes – both in Marin County, and in San Francisco – that explore both the artistry and the real life realities of acting on professional movie and television sets. He specializes in working with teen-age actors and performers.
He is also a Consulting Director, working with singers, poets, actors, and performance artists to create and shape their material for the stage, or for on-camera presentation.
As a performance coach, he works with a variety of clients – both corporate and private – to prepare them for television appearances, or live presentations.
